Departments

Each department is under the responsibility of two researchers or teacher-researchers HDR. This organization facilitates the availability of the managers and allows a good representation of the scientific themes of the department (for BioSiS, one manager represents biology and medicine and the second signal and image). The scientific animation of department projects (organization of scientific meetings, seminars etc.) is entrusted to a permanent researcher of the project.

The main functions of the department heads are:

• The animation and monitoring of scientific policy
• Participation in the laboratory management team
• The management of the human and material resources of the department
• Scientific responsibility before the evaluation committee
