The Histology technical platform is located on the site of the Faculty of Medicine of the CRAN. The technical platform now allows, in compliance with hygiene and safety rules, the processing of fixed (paraffin) or fresh samples using appropriate cutting methods: microtome (paraffin), vibratome (fresh), histological staining, immunohistochemical techniques, in situ hybridization and organotypic culture.
— processing of fixed, dehydrated and paraffin-embedded samples;
— processing of fresh samples (organotypic culture);
— histological staining (HES, Pearls (iron detection), Evans Blue. . .);
— immunohistochemistry with white light or fluorescence revelation (KI67 (proliferation), Vimentin, metalloproteinases (MMP2 / 9), Hypoxia (HIF1 / 2), collagen (Col IV), caspase 3, CD31, VEGFR. . .);
— in situ hybridization: identification of tissue chimerism.
— microtome RM2135 Leica;
— Hybridization in situ device: BTDH-500 Denaturation & Hybridization System (02/2021; 2490€);
— vibratome VT1200S Leica (06/2018; 15000€);
— microscope Eclipse 600 NIKON (white light) — macroscope AZ100 NIKON (fluorescence);
— macroscope AZ100 NIKON (fluorescence);
— Captair Smart chemical hood (12/2017; 5000€);
— chemical cabinet for flammable product.
